So, if missing out on seeing polar bears would disappoint you, perhaps consider a trip to Svalbard instead, where there’s a higher concentration of the bears. If I were you I would definitely arrange tours so that you are not having to walk so much, but I am not sure what tours did not involve a certain amount of walking. The Ocean Explorer’s crew made two failed attempts to get the ship to float free on its own during high tide.
